What we collect
When you send an enquiry, request a quote or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the details you enter: your name, company, email address, telephone number and whatever you tell us about the job. If you send us artwork or drawings, we hold those too.
Our web server keeps standard technical logs — IP address, browser type and pages requested — which are used to keep the site running and secure.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, prepare a quotation, carry out work you have ordered, and keep records of jobs we have done. Newsletter subscribers receive occasional practical articles, and nothing else.
Artwork and drawings
Logos, artwork and engineering drawings you send remain yours. We keep them on file so repeat orders match your original job, and we do not use them for any other customer. Tell us if you would like them deleted and we will remove them.
Who else sees it
We do not sell or rent personal information. It is shared only where a job requires it — for example with a galvaniser or a courier — and only the detail needed to complete that step. Our email and hosting providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and quotations are kept for three years so we can answer questions about past work. Job records and artwork are kept for as long as you remain a customer. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the link in any email.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS, form submissions are validated and rate limited, and administrative access requires an account with a password. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable care.
Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details on this website and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.
