Workshop open day
Come and see the print floor and the fabrication shop running, ask what things cost, and leave with a printed shirt.
Once a quarter we open the workshop. It is the easiest way to understand why two quotes for the same gate can differ by half, because you can watch the steps that get skipped.
What you will see
- A four-colour screen printing run set up from scratch
- Embroidery digitising, and why a bad stitch file ruins a good logo
- A truss built on the jig, and what "marked up for erection" means
- Sandblasting and powder coating, side by side with brush paint on the same steel
Who it is for
